Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHALLDOR GUDMUNDUR HALLDORSON December 12, 1906 January 21, 2001 It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Halldor Halldorson on Sunday, January 21, 2001 at the Deer Lodge Centre. He was born in Westbourne, Man., grew up in Lundar and later moved to Winnipeg where he worked for many years at Keystone Fisheries. Halldor was predeceased by his wife Gunnfridur (1986), son John (1985), three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his daughter Eleanor Narick (Ros) and their children Nancy (Andrew), Narda (Don) and Joanne, son Roy and his children David (Kathy) and Danny, daughter-in-law Margaret of B.C. and her children Jeffrey of Seattle and Leslie (Wode) of B.C., two great-grandchildren, four sisters, Sigga Freeman, Emily Osinski, Grace Nunn and Pearl Heppenstall as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service for Halldor will be held on Wednesday, January 24 at 2:00 p.m. in The First Lutheran Church, 580 Victor St. with Pastor Michael Kurtz officiating. Our family wishes to thank the staff of Tuxedo Villa for their care during his stay there. In lieu of flowers, donations in Halldors memory may be made to First Lutheran Church, 580 Victor St., Winnipeg, Man. R3G 1R2 or a charity of your choice.
