RUTH MARY WARNOCK (nee NELSON) 1913 - 2001 On January 21, 2001, after a brief illness, Ruth passed away peacefully at the Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home where she had resided for the past two years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Wayne (Judy-Lynne) daughter-in-law Jeanette Warnock; devoted sisters, Isabel Milne and Dorothy McKillop; sister-in-law Florence Nelson; grandchildren, Colleen, Christopher, Stephan and Barnett along with many special nieces and nephews; three step-grandchildren and five great step-grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her husband John in 1987; infant son Kent in 1947, beloved youngest son Keith in September, 2000, and her brother John Nelson in 1991. Ruth touched all our lives in so many loving ways as a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend. A funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Thursday, January 25 at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be held in the Garden of the Good Samaritan following the service. A reception for family and friends will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Special thank you to her niece Fern Milne for her selfless dedication and kindness to Ruth for many years. Also thanks to the kind and caring staff at the Tuxedo Villa. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruths memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
