ROSE ELLEN FERGUSON (nee KENNEDY) On January 21, 2001, Rose Ellen Ferguson, beloved wife of the late Duncan James Ferguson, of Lions Manor, entered into her eternal rest at the age of 93 years. She will be missed greatly by her beloved daughter Joyce Mason of Meech Lake, PQ; son Brooke and his wife Gayle of Winnipeg; grandson Paul and his wife Judy; granddaughter Becky and her husband Reid; granddaughter Sheryl; grandson Randy and his wife Shaney; great-grandchildren, Jamie, Willa, Jessie and Rhiannon; and one sister Olive and her husband Wally Goshulak of Dauphin, MB. Rose was predeceased by her brothers, Donald, Alvin, Charles, David, Robert, Joseph, Ernest, Ralph and Nelson; and by her son-in-law Bill Mason. Rose was a member of Elim Chapel for more than 40 years and despite her blindness in later years, she continued to be an active member. Her strong faith in God was evident throughout her life. She will be missed. There will be a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 27 in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with Pastor Dan Coley officiating. Interment will be in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Friends may call for visitation at the chapels between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25.
