DIANNA CHRISTINE TURESKI It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter Dianna Christine Tureski on January 21, 2001 at her residence. Dianna was born to Helen and Peter Tureski in Regina, SK on August 28, 1960. Dianna leaves to mourn her mother and father, Helen and Peter Tureski; brother Peter Tureski Jr. and his wife Ardith and their children, Heather and Kevin; sister Susan and her husband Jim Hanson. She is also survived by her grandmother Ethel Alexander of Fort Frances, ON; Aunt Helen Smerchanski and family of Winnipeg; Val and Rob Roberton and family of Calgary, AB; John and Joyce Tureski and family of Sarnia, ON; Pat and Don Moffitt and family of Fort Frances; Don and Dorothy Alexander and family of Atikokan, ON. Dianna attended Kirkfield Park School and a special integrated program at Red River Community College. Dianna was also involved in the D.A.S.C.H. Developmental Day Program where her path was crossed by many loving and caring friends from all walks of life. Dianna will be sadly missed at Prairie Places by her care-givers, and especially her companions, Laurie and Norine, who made Diannas life full of worth, happiness, and joy and who had so many hopes and dreams for her future. We shall miss her smile and her sense of humour, and her special gift of making other people laugh. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Westwood Presbyterian Church, Westwood and Browning Blvd. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to Prairie Places Inc., 220 - 500 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3X1, or a charity of your choice. Dianna asked so little of life but gave back so very much more. Because we know that someone who has been loved is never lost. They live on in our memories.
