PATRICIA MACKELSON (nee PARKER) It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Patricia Mackelson. Pat will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband of 49 years, Chuck; her children, Chuck, Gary, Sandy (Gary), Darlene (Tom), Alice (Bryan) grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Zenon (Shannon), Jake Paige, Autumn, April, Thomas, Tayna. Alyssa and Reid; great-grandchild Fox; sister Thelma; brothers, Reg (Eileen), Arthur (Daisy) many relatives and friends. Pat was born in Winnipeg in 1931. She met and married Chuck in 1952. Together they lovingly raised their five children. Her loving, caring, and generous nature could be seen through her devotion to her family. She loved celebrating lifes special moments. She was a great listener and held a world of wisdom. While raising her family, she was employed part time at Gambles Department Store in the Photo Department. Later on, Food Systems Management employed her where she worked many years in high school cafeterias, nourishing staff and students with food and love. She enjoyed hobbies of gardening, cooking and baking. She will be sadly missed by all. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, January 28, at 2:00 p.m. in Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Lindsay, and Dr. Rabson, who provided exceptional care to her during the last year.
