Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL DAVID KENNETH DRADER February 23, 1983 - January 23, 2001 Tradgically at his residence, Michael passed away one month short of his 18th birthday. Michael was born on February 23, 1983 in Winnipeg. He went to Oakenwald School, then Headingly School before moving to Carman. Michael liked playing jokes on people and telling jokes, he had a fantastic sense of humour. He also enjoyed camping, tinkering with cars and was very serious in his favourite pastime - fishing. Michael was predeceased by an infant brother Kevin in January 1976, by his grandpa Martin Thiessen in May 1989, and by his grandma Helen in February 1996. Michael leaves to mourn his mom Agatha-Mae (Ron), his brother Kevin (Angie), one nephew Matthew, three aunts Tina (George) Banman of Winnipeg, Sue (Ron) Kornelson of Steinbach, Mary (Stan) Nevins of Winnipeg and seven uncles, Jake Thiessen of Winnipeg, Richard (Barb) of Steinbach, Neil (Vickie) of B.C., Pete (Bonnie) of Winnipeg, Bob (Bonnie) of Lorette, Rick and Dave of Steinbach, numerous cousins and many friends. May your troubled soul rest in peace, Son. Funeral service will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman, MB on Friday, January 26, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. WHEN I MUST LEAVE YOU When I must leave you for a little while Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you through the years, But start out bravely with a gallant smile; And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same. Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways; Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; And never, never be afraid to die For I am waiting for you in the sky!
