LOURDES CASIS TORMON It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Lourdes Casis Tormon on January 23, 2001 at the age of 58. Lourdes was born on April 8, 1942 in the Philippines and came to Canada in February of 2000. She was predeceased by her husband Juanito Tormon. Left to cherish her memory are her children Merlyn (Rene) Alibango and children, Lily and Rose Tormon in Winnipeg, Virgie (Willie) Dago and children, Renate (Arlene) Tormon and children, Jonathan (Laura) Tormon, Maribel (Alex) Chua and children, Helen (Jerome) Matunding and children in the Philippines, and Elizabeth (Reynaldo) Gonzales in London, and the entire Tormon family, Alibango family, Lorenzo Davila and family, Val Espino and family Winnipeg. Special thanks to all the nursing and medical staff of Cancer Care of Manitoba, all staff of GD-4 of Health Sciences Centre, and Dr. E. Malabanan for their excellent care and support. Prayers will be held on Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28 from 7:00 p.m. till 12:00 midnight at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews.
