JACOB EYER July 7, 1931 - January 23, 2001 It is with great sadness that we mourn the sudden passing of our husband and father, Jacob Eyer on January 23, 2001. Jacob is predeceased by his parents Hendricka and Jacob Eyer and son Gerald. He is survived by his wife Hilda; sister Rie and brothers Joop and Antoon, his children, Janny, Jack (Lavina), Anton (Tracey) and Heidi (Phil), grandchildren; Milisa, Andrew, Amber, Amanda, Hannah, Nicole, Justine and Rachel. Jacob, affectionately known as Mister, was born in Amsterdam on July 7, 1931. He was a dedicated volunteer at St. Amant Centre. In his spare time he enjoyed swimming, cycling, walking and gardening. One of his most favourite times was taking his grandchildren on outings. He retired from M.A.T.C. in 1999. He found great fulfilment in his work there. Mister was a colourful character who made an impression on everyone he came into contact with. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Amant Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
