Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD ALVIN (AL) COMBERBACH Peacefully, on January 23, 2001, in Victoria, BC, in his 86th year. Born in Stonewall, MB on July 21, 1915, he was predeceased by his wife Doris Burnette Laidler; his brothers, Myrton and Dennis. He is survived by his wife Mary Catharine; three daughters, Brenda Gayle (Ron), Pamela May (Richard) and Laura-Lee; grandchildren and great-grand-children; stepdaughters, Carol (Barry), Heather (Ron) and families; his sisters, Florence, Dorothy, Millie and Esme (Harry) his brother Garnet (Anne) nieces, nephews and their families; his sisters-in-law, Jane and Betty Comberbach. Mr. Comberbach served overseas with the Canadian Army from 1941 to 1945 and retired from the Civil Service in Ottawa, coming to Victoria in 1978.
