WILLIAM SHULGA On Sunday, January 21, 2001, at the Portage District General Hospital, William Shulga, a resident of the Lions Prairie Manor and formerly of the Oddfellows Towers, widower of the late Annie Shulga, passed away at the age of 98 years. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Monday, January 29 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in the family plot at Hillside Cemetery. Predeceased by his wife Annie in 1998; daughter Margaret Macdonald in 1983; his brother Nick in 1991, he leaves to mourn his passing his granddaughter Cyndi Macdonald (Barry Hale) of Toronto, ON. Also surviving are his sisters-in-law, Min East of Winnipeg, Mary Shulga of the Curtis District; brothers-in-law, Bill Antoniuk of Brandon, Alex (Anne) Antoniuk of Plumas; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home for visitation one hour prior to the service. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Lions Prairie Manor Foundation Inc., 24 - 9th St., S.E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3V4.
