Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN LESSARD (nee BEREZA) Peacefully at Riverview Health Care Centre on Thursday, January 25, 2001, Lillian Lessard, aged 77 years, passed away. Lillian was born in Rossburn, MB on March 10, 1923.c Remaining to herish her memory is son John Audy, wife Celiste and granddaughter Chantel, of New Zealand, son Lloyd Audy, wife Denise and granddaughter Sonia and Natasha of Kimberly, B.C.; brothers, Karl and Stan Bereza (Betty) of Winnipeg, Victor Bereza of Edmonton; sisters, Sophie Swedberg (Dennis) and Evelyn Watson of Winnipeg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Lillian was predeceased by her father John; mother Mary; husbands, Bert Audy, Jerry Lessard; daughter Joanne; sister Lucy; and brother Frank. Lillian lived in Quebec for 23 years and moved back to Winnipeg in 1967. Lillian will be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters as a very devoted, kind, compassionate and caring sister. She was always available to provide assistance and lend an ear. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will take place in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. The family wishes to convey their thanks to Dr. Rubinger and staff at the Cancer Clinic, Health Sciences Centre, also Dr. Garcia and staff at Riverview Health Centre, Palliative Care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
