JUNE SCOTT It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of June, beloved mother and grandmother, on January 25, 2001, at her home. June is lovingly remembered by her daughter Maureen, son-in-law Al Stevinson, and three grandchildren, Michael (Smeaton), Katrina and Renata. June took great pride in her grandchildren, knowing their every accomplishment, letting them be heroes of her life, sharing a home. Their grandmothers presence has enriched their lives greatly. Junes career as a teacher in the Transcona Springfield School Division for 36 years took her to Central, Harold Hatcher, Regent Park and Joseph Teres Schools. She was dedicated to her students and believed in the abilities of each and every one. A service to celebrate Junes life will be held on Wednesday, January 31 at 1:30 p.m. at the Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Ave. W., with Rev. Carol Fletcher officiating. June had many favourite charities. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a childrens charity of your choice. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
