GEORGE NICK ZOPPA George, born in Winnipeg, August 12, 1927, passed away on January 22, 2001. George was 74 years old and passed away in St. Pauls Hospital, Vancouver, B.C. Memories of George will be cherished by his friends and family. He is survived by his wife Leonora and son Frank of Vancouver, B.C.; also his son Dean (Karen) and granddaughter Gabrielle of Winnipeg, Man.; daughter Gina (Charles) Bourgon and granddaughter Sydney of Moose Creek, Ont.; friends, Linda and Bill Wachowicz of Cloverdale, B.C. and Verna of Kamloops, B.C. and many friends at the Pendrelous Apartments in Vancouver,B.C.; brothers, Alvin and John of Winnipeg, Man.; and sisters, Nancy and Isabel of Winnipeg, Man. Farewell good friend The sun is shinning bright today As you gently leave this land, We dont know what it holds for you, For you only know that plan. All the years that you were here Will be in our hearts to stay, For you brought fun and laughter To our lives most everyday. Were going to miss you, Georgie Boy, More than you will ever know, And we only wish you happiness Where ever you may go. Until such time that we meet again.
