Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENTINE GAGNON (nee BOURCIER) Suddenly at her home, Thursday, January 25, 2001, we announce with sorrow the peaceful passing of our mother and memere at the age of 80 years young. Mom was predeceased by our dad, Antonio in February 1970; and two sons, Alexandre in August 1975, and Gerard in March 1997. She was also predeceased by her twin sister Yvette Gobeil in April of 1997, as well as three brothers and two other sisters. Florentine was born in Vassar, MB in 1920 and lived her young life there until she met our dad, Antonio, and married at the age of 16. They started to build their family. They had a bakers dozen, seven boys and six girls: Rolande Nault (Armand), Marie-Jeanne Proulx (Arthur), Adele Ross (Raymond), Angele Patkau (Bill), Marcel (Pat), Henri, Denis (Sherli), Claude (Cindy), Lorraine Stuski (Patrick), Robert, Claudette Nault (Gabriel). They called St. Boniface their home. She is also survived by a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mom has only one surviving sibling, Therese Beauchamp, and relatives too numerous to mention. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends at LACCUIEL Colombian, and a very special friend, Eva Backeland, Mom really loved you, Eva. Mom enjoyed her junkets to the Gambling Joints with her friends. She enjoyed her multitude of crafts and if you needed any wool, she has a bucket and a half. She loved her treasures and treasures she had in abundance. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 ave de la cathedral, with Msgr. Albert Frechette presiding. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to the service. A private family interment will take place at a later date in the St. Boniface Cemetery, where she will rest with Dad. Adieu chers enfants cheris, Parents, et amis. Je me suis soumis a la volonte de Dieu. Pourqoi pleurer mon depart puisque la mort est la fin de nos souffrances. Quil est doux de sendormir, pour se reveiller dans le Seigneur. O Mon Dieu, donnez du courage a mes enfants, benissez ma famille et soyez le protecteur de mes enfants. Je continuerai de La-Haut a vous aimer et a vous aider.
