EDWARD ALLAN COATES On the 19th day of January, Edward Allan Coates passed away peacefully in Riverview Health Centre at the age of 90. Ed was born near Zelandia, Saskatchewan, November 26, 1910 to Damey and August Kroetch Dad is survived by his sons Darryl and Bob (Joy), brothers Albert, Paul, Juin and sisters Margaret Walberg and Elaine McMillan as well as six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Ed was predeceased by his wonderful wife Etta, son Karl and brother Bob. Dad enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, his sunhouse and lunches out on Fridays. He was a warm caring, generous man. Dad was employed at C.N.R. for many years and spent many hours enjoying his dog Buddy. Cremation has taken place, with a family service to follow later and interment at Garry Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eds memory to the Riverview Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, 1 Morley Avenue E., Winnipeg R3L 2P4.
