MICHEL JEAN BELOT Peacefully on January 26, 2001 with his family by his side, Mike passed away at the age of 58 years. He was predeceased by his father Andre; his mother Jeanne; brother Gerard and by his sister Monique. His memory will be cherished by niece Lise (Keith) Beaton; great-niece Alyssa Monique Beaton; nephew Guy Belot; sister-in-law Judy; brother-in-law Marinus and by many cousins and friends. Mike retired from the University of Manitoba after completing 32 years of service. He especially enjoyed travelling to France to visit his relatives. Mike was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. According to Mikes wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held. The Interment and Gathering will take place at a later date. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Staff of the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassion, dedicated care and support.
