Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOSKAR KOHLER Suddenly on January 27, 2001, the family announces the passing of Oskar Kohler, lifelong resident of the Finns district, born January 29, 1925. Oskar leaves to remember him, his brother Karl Kohler (Eve) his sister-in-law Win Kohler; two nieces, Rose (Murray) Dick with Jamie and Shaun, and Alice (Jim) Windebank. He was predeceased by his parents, Oskar Sr. (1967) and Martha (1978). He worked all his life on the family farm in Finns. He spent some winters working in Thompson and Limestone. The last years of his employment were spent driving a concrete truck for Glenko until he retired at age 70. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ardal-Geysir Lutheran Church, Arborg, interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to a charity of your choice. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
