Lucille "Suzy", will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Alan; her son Bert, daughter-in-law Kathy, and grandchildren, Alan and Andrea. She was predeceased by her father R.J. From 1912 to 1924 the family lived in Arborg, then Dauphin, and returned to Teulon where Lucille proudly remained for the rest of her life. After completing high school, Lucille worked as a telephone operator. She then enrolled in Success Business College where she completed the course and worked as a bookkeeper for her father at Woods garage. Alan and Lucille worked side by side at their Imperial Oil business for 14 years. In addition, she worked for both Sheer Mist Hosiery, and L.J. Baron Agencies; then completed her working career as a Medical Records Technician in Teulon Hospital. Music was a big part of Lucilles life whether it was playing the organ during church, teaching her grandchildren, or enjoying a sing-a-long with her friends. Lucille had a passion for curling, held many executive positions, and managed to participate for over 40 years until her health prevented her from continuing. Discovering golf, she enjoyed the local course and travelled many miles towing her cart to play numerous courses with her friends. Many enjoyable hours were spent watching various sports, especially when cheering for the Blue Bombers. Lucille was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, lovingly supporting her family in all their endeavours; a lady who enjoyed life to its fullest, no matter what her circumstances, set an example for all. Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 1, at 7:30 p.m., and a memorial service on Friday, February 2, at 2:30 p.m., in MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon.
