Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID IAN CAMPBELL Accidentally near St. Pierre on Saturday, January 27, 2001, David Ian Campbell, aged 35 years, beloved companion of Doreen Fontaine, and father of their newborn son, David Ian Michael. Born April 7, 1965 in Winnipeg, Ian attended school at Teulon Elementary, Teulon Collegiate and Lord Selkirk Comprehensive. He had worked in the trucking industry most latterly with Kleysens for 12 years. Ian enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating, and, during his school years, hockey. In addition to Doreen and David, he is survived by his parents, David and Claudia; nephew Matthew; brother Findlay and his family, Denise, Brennon and Samantha; sister Megan and her children, Austin and Kristi and their dad Mark Willis; his aunts and uncles, Lenore Doern, Bruce and Joan Doern, Karen Ann Harvey and Dorothy Campbell; cousins, Tracey (Dennis) Carr, Todd (Heidi) Sutherland, Kristin Doern (Rob Skinner), Shannon Doern (Chris Sinden), ZAnne Harvey-Jansen (Brad Jansen), Blair (Jennifer) Harvey, Darrell Harvey (Katie Rollwagon), Lori Main, Dale (John) Kokorsch, Linda (Wayne) McKinnon, Mark (Patti) Campbell, Brian (Lois) Campbell, and their children. Doreens family, her parents, Denis and Lucille Fontaine; her sister Denise (Chris) Lischynski and their children, Dyllan and Chantal; her sister Darlene Fontaine and Ians birth mother Heather Johnson. He was predeceased by his sister Blythe in 1991. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 31 at 2:30 p.m. in the Teulon Rockwood Centennial Centre. Rev. Ken Anstie and Rev. Barbara Anne Bryant-Anstie will officiate, with interment to follow in the Dundas Cemetery. Pallbearers: Darrell Brocker, Mark Campbell, Alan Cooper, Greg Cottingham, Lorne Lavallee, Chris Lischynski, Rob Smaldon, and Mark Willis. Friends who so desire may make contributions to a trust fund for David Ian Michael in care of the South Interlake Credit Union, Teulon Branch, Box 90, Teulon, MB R0C 3B0.
