VIOLET ANNA TONNELLIER (nee BERG) Peacefully, on Sunday, January 28, 2001, Violet Tonnellier passed away at Victoria Hospital at the age of 88. Violet will be lovingly remembered by her son Leon (Yvonne) grandchildren, Edmund (Jane), Kimberley (Don Neufeld), Theresa "Terri", David (Laura-Jean), Lilja; great-grandchildren, Marina, Janelle, and Trent; sisters, Vera Johnson, Ruth Boden, and Mabel Sjoblom; as well as many nieces and nephews. Violet was predeceased by husband Ernest and her parents. Violet greatly enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow and shared her knitting, crocheting, and other handicrafts with her family. Memorial service will be on Friday, February 2 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. The family wishes to thank the Home Care workers for their help and care over the last few years.
