EDNA SKIBA On Sunday, January 28, 2001, Edna Skiba, aged 80, passed away at the Holy Family Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Emily (Edward) of Vanscoy, SK, daughter-in-law Eva Skiba of Winnipeg, and grandson Wilf Skiba (Jackie) of Portage la Prairie, sister Lena Whitney (Jim) of Winnipeg, numerous nieces, nephews and all her many friends. Edna was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 1986; sons, Stanley in 1953 and Martin in 1997. Mom was born in Meleb, MB. She spent most of her life in Winnipeg. She enjoyed her family, gardening, flowers and needlework. Best of all, Mom enjoyed her time at the lake. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street, with viewing prior to the service. Interment at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wilf Skiba, Emil Georgette, Marty Skiba, Earl Dudek, Jim Whitney and Adam Keryluk. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R2B 2H8. We wish to thank Dr. T.
