Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHUBERT CAMERON (HERB) HALLIDAY Born May 28, 1925 at home in the Shoal Lake Municipality (Manitoba). Died January 24, 2001 in Victoria, BC. His family and friends will sadly miss Hubert. He is survived by his wife Shirley; daughter Debra Britton (Brian), son Trevor (Swedini), and daughter Tracey Halliday (Gary Morlock) and his grandchildren, Mathew and Shayla Britton (Barry) and great-grandchildren, Cameron and Gavin. In Manitoba he is also survived by his brother Bill, Gladys Lillie (both of Vista) and Amy Murray (Winnipeg) as well as many nieces and nephews. Hubert was the youngest of eight children. He was predeceased by his parents, Wm. and Margaret Halliday; brothers and sisters, John, Ellen Martin, Isabel Baggs, Lloyd. Hubert served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the war and was very active in his community. He was a wonderful friend to his family and friends. A service was held at Lake Cowichan United Church, 10 N. King George St., Lake Cowichan V0R 2G0 on January 30, 2001. Cremation has taken place.
