Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELVIRA CANDIDA SOARES Peacefully, on Wed-nesday, January 31, 2001, Elvira Soares, age 89 years, passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband Manuel, her son Manuel, her sister in Acores and her granddaughter. Elvira will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family; her daughter Maria (Joao) da Silva, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her brother Manuel (Branca) da Silva; her daughter-in-law Margarida Soares, and many other relatives and friends. Prayers will be held on Friday, February 2 at 6:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m., also at the church. Interment will follow in Assumption Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Elviras memory to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
