BERNICE KOWALSKI It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Bernice Kowalski on January 26, 2001. She was 78 years old. Predeceased by her husband Walter in 1994 they are now reunited to continue their paths together. Many wonderful memories of Bernice will be cherished forever by her loving family, daughter Debbie; grandson Don; son-in-law John; sisters, Vicky and Julia; brother Andy; niece Jasmine; nephews, Ray and Ken, plus so many other family members and friends she has touched the hearts of over the years. Bernice was born in Saskatchewan on December 21, 1922 one of 12 children. She married Walter in 1943 and together they moved to Winnipeg in 1954. Bernice loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Her kind and generous heart was always open to those who knew her. Family was the main focus of her life. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, granny, sister and auntie. God has you in his keeping, We have you in our hearts. For those we love dont go away, They walk beside us everyday. Rest in peace...We love you. As per Bernices wishes, she was cremated and a memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2 at 11:00 a.m. Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., 586-8044.
