ADAM SINCLAIR CAMPBELL MILNE It is with love and sadness, we announce the passing of our dear brother, Adam Milne, of 78 years on January 27, 2001 at the Grace General Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Mabel. Left to mourn him in passing are his five sisters, Jean Seavers of Winnipeg, MB, Betty (Elmer) Iverson of Nanaimo, BC, Jessie Klym of Arborg, MB, Mary (Cliff) White of Summerland, BC, Christina (George) Bartel of Elbow SK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He farmed in the Yarbo, Saskatchewan district after returning from three years of overseas duty in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He worked in the Esterhazy Potash Mine followed by eight years with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. Adam then took up residence in Winnipeg where he retired after 14 years service with Canada Post. Adam had a flair for carpentry in which he enjoyed such projects as a cottage in Winnipeg Beach and a few major house renovations. Adam then retired to the Metropolitan Kiwanis Courts at 2300 Ness Avenue. He participated in many activities there and will be sadly missed by his many friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Grace General Hospital and the Kiwanis Courts for all of their help and support through this difficult time. According with Adams wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held at this time. A memorial service and burial at the Brookside Cemetery is being planned for early summer, 2001. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7. Thank you for the years you gave us And the times we shared. We only pray that when you left us You knew how much we cared. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
