Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE SLYZUK March 10, 1905 - January 31, 2001 Peacefully on January 31, 2001 at the age of 95 years, Nellie Slyzuk passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home. Nellie was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Paraska; sisters, Mary and Alice; brothers, John, Michael, Steve, Sam and Harry. She leaves to mourn her loving memory numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Nellie was born in 1905 in Venlaw, Man., where she resided until 1949. She then moved to Winnipeg, where she worked as a seamstress for a few years. Later Nellie moved to Chicago where she continued her labours as a seamstress until her retirement. She then moved back to Winnipeg to spend the latter years of her life with her family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with a gathering of family and friends to follow. Interment will take place in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
