DIANE WEBSTER (nee MATTHIES) After a long and valiant fight with MS, Diane, aged 40 passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on January 31, 2001. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Mark Lamoureux and his immediate family: Gustav (father) Brunhilde (mother) brothers and sisters, Dirk (Debbie), Duncan, Desiree (Richard), Dieter (Monique), Desmond (Natalie) and all her nephews and nieces, Tyler, Bradley, Terry, Vanessa, Megan and Kyle in Winnipeg. Diane was born May 10, 1960 and lived her entire life here in Winnipeg. She attended Howden Elementary School and then went to Beliveau Junior High and graduated in 1979 from Windsor Park Collegiate. She worked shortly at Canadian Tire, Bank of Montreal and then worked as a Security Guard at Health Sciences Centre hoping to eventually become a police officer before coming down with MS. In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Diane can be made to the MS Society of Manitoba. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m.in the Chapel at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., followed by a reception in the funeral home reception area.
