Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARLENE JEFFERS (nee COOK) Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with heart disease and diabetes, Darlene Jeffers, the beloved wife of Congdon (Jeff) Jeffers, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on January 31, 2001, at the age of 66 years. Darlene is survived by her son Ross and his wife Jenny; grandson Christopher; granddaughters, Sarah, Stefanie and Rachel; brother Ross Cook; nephews, Bill (Tammy) Cook and Don (Marsha) Frohwerk and their son Donnie; niece Joan (Keith) Bogue and their son Jonathon. Darlene was predeceased by her sister Treva Edmondson. There will be a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 5 in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Viewing will be held for one hour prior to the service. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the nursing staff of GA3 at the Health Sciences Centre for the outstanding quality of care given to Darlene during her time there.
