BERTHA (BERNICE) RUTKOWSKI (BIALOSZEWSKI) Peacefully on February 1, 2001 at Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg. Bertha, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 85. Predeceased by first husband Walter Bialoszewski and their son Mitch, and by second husband Frank Rutkowski. She is survived by daughters, Gladys Arnal (Jules) and Irene Blackburn (Mark) stepchildren, Chris Rutkowski and Frances Zubak (Peter) grandchildren Aaron and Ben Blackburn; great-grandchildren Thomas and Emily; step- grandchildren, Anna, Steve and John, and step great-grandchildren, Zachary, Victoria, Ben, Bailey, Katelyn and Kirsten. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre, as well as friends and staff at the Canadian Polish Manor. Bertha will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile and the love and laughter she brought to all our lives. She will be sadly missed by all members of her loving family. Prayers will be held on Sunday, February 4 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
