ERNEST (ERNIE) HAMILTON SMITH With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Ernie Smith, after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, February 1, 2001 at the Riverview Health Care Centre. In accordance with Ernies wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Johns Cathedral, 135 Anderson Ave., with the Very Rev. R. J. (Bob) Osborne officiating, and Rev. Canon Ann Goodwin assisting. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
