SHIRLEY BIRCHAM We announce with deep sorrow the passing of Shirley June Bircham, on February 1, 2001. Shirley leaves to mourn her loving husband of 47 years and best friend Allan. Shirley is also survived by her mom Lil Peabody and Shirleys four children and families, Sharon and family from Canmore, Alta., Dean and Julie and family from England, Gary and Lisa and family from Winnipeg and Al and Deb and family from Winnipeg. Shirley was born June 19, 1935. She was raised in Winnipeg and devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley loved her summers at Grand Beach with her loving husband and family for many years. Many memories will be cherished; one of the fondest will be that of Mom and Dad walking hand in hand as they so often did. Our lives were so enriched by her unconditional love, friendship and her strength. We will carry these gifts that she gave us for the rest of our lives, and in our children. You have brought so much joy and sunshine to family and friends, we will now look up to see a brighter star in the sky and remember and LOVE you always, sleep peacefully. In respect of Shirleys wishes, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
