Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD SCOTT HARRISON It is with sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of Ronald Scott Harrison on Saturday, January 27th, 2001 at Rideau Park Personal Care Home. Ronald was born in Carman, Manitoba on September 29th, 1919. He resided at Graysville, Manitoba where he received his education. In March, 1941, Ronald enlisted in the Canadian Army. He was assigned to the Corps of Military Staff Clerks, Department of National Defence, Ottawa. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and received his discharge October 9th, 1946. Ronald is survived by his brother, Harvey (Joan) of Fort MacLeod, Alberta and sisters, Eileen Johnson of Winnipeg, Iola Flanagan (Claude) of Brandon and Wilma Gray (Hector) of Carman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by his parents, Sarah and William Harrison, his brothers, Roy and Francis and brothers-in-law, Clarence Landles and Harold Johnson. A memorial service was held at Rideau Park on Wednesday, January 31, 2001, at 2:00 p.m., with Barb Douglas officiating. Interment will take place at the Graysville Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ronald may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements were in care of Brockie Donovan.
