HANS ERICH TAENZER On January 29, 2001, Hans Taenzer, beloved father and grandfather, passed away at age 69 years. Predeceased by his parents and his sister Hannalore, Hans leaves to mourn and cherish his memory son Keith and grandson Chase (the great one) daughter Caroline (Darrin) and grandchildren, Bryan and Shania; daughter Dianne (Don) sons, Ron (Cindy) and grandchildren, Rob, Gary, Samantha and Jessie; James (Leanne) and grandson Austin; and his sisters, Helga (Warren) Pulis and Anniliese. Hans Taenzer was born in Germany in 1931 and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He was employed by Maple Leaf Mills for 28 years and opted for early retirement when the company closed. He then moved to Grand Marais and enjoyed the lake, cottage life and "Freedom 50". Wishing to depart in privacy, cremation has taken place and a private service will be forthcoming. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Pilot, Dr. Fine and Dr. Smith. "You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered," Love, Your kids.
