LLOYD EINARSON 1932 - 2001 It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce Lloyds sudden and peaceful passing on February 2, 2001 at Concordia Hospital. Lloyd will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Sylvia (Thor) Sigurdson; sister-in-law Margaret; nieces and nephews, Lana Einarson, Dale (Karen) Einarson, Fawn (Ray) Nielsen, Thora (Kim) Anderson, Carol Sigurdson and Cynthia Sigurdson; great-nieces and nephews, Jerry, Amanda, Adam, Tasha, Ty, Garrett, Brayden and Oaklen; also by his special friends, Tim (Dusty) Diment and their children Zane, Jamie Lee and Trevor. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, Malvin in 1956 and Borga Einarson in 1971 and his brother Malvin in 1997. Lloyd was born the second son of Malvin and Borga Einarson and raised in Winnipegosis, Man. Lloyd started working in a store as a young lad and later he and his father bought one of the local stores, becoming Einarsons Lucky Dollar Store - which Lloyd ran for 25 years. In 1978, he sold his store and moved to Brandon and found employment with the Brandon Mental Hospital in Dietary for the next 15 years. Lloyd was very proud of his Icelandic heritage, he enjoyed three wonderful trips to Iceland, and was thrilled when the relatives visited in return. He was an active member of the Falcon Icelandic Club in Brandon and thoroughly enjoyed the Bridge Club. Lloyd was a very loving, gentle and caring man. There was nothing he wouldnt do for anyone if he could - be it caring for and treating nieces and nephews, thoughtful deeds toward his widowed aunts, being the local ambulance driver or baking for and treating the seniors in town who had no family around at Christmas. Lloyd lived his life for those he loved and they will forever love and remember him. Prayers will be said at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, Aubrey Street entrance on Monday, 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in Winnipegosis, Man., on Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. in Elks Hall with interment in the Winnipegosis Cemetery. Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association. " A heart of gold stopped beating the day God called him home" Brother As children, we lived together We fought, we laughed and we cried We did not always show the love That was growing deep inside. We shared close joy and sorrow, We shared much happiness too. Living through the good and bad times Is what bonded me to you. We grew to find we have a love That is special in every way, It is a warm and tender love That is very strong today. You are my brother not by choice, But through the nature of our birth, I could never have chosen a better brother You are the best on earth Heimsins besti brodir NEIL BARDAL INC 949-2200
