Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERTHA RUDKEVITCH Suddenly on January 31, 2001 Bertha Rudkevitch passed away at the age of 81 years with her family at her side. She leaves to mourn two sons, Clarence Rudkevitch, daughter-in-law Ann of Kenora, Ont., Kelly Rudkevitch, daughter-in-law Elaine of Winnipeg and two grandchildren, Daniel and Andrew Rudkevitch. She is also survived by her sisters, Ann Demaniuk, husband George of Winnipeg, Emily Zalusky of Edmonton, Alta. Bertha was predeceased by her husband Karl on April 7, 1954, sister Olga Sickar and Johanna Kowalchuk. Bertha was born on April 9, 1919. She lived in the Ashville district and on July 3, 1942 she was united in marriage to Karl Rudkevitch. Together they settled in Fork River, Man., where they owned and operated a Store-Cafe for 15 years. After the passing of her husband she moved with her parents in Dauphin and worked at Dixon Flooring for fifteen years and as a Laundromat Custodian for the D.O.S.A. Following her retirement, she moved to Kenora for seven years before settling at the Kildonan Horizons where she had many friends. A special thanks goes out to the residents on the third floor. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel on Main Street in Dauphin, Man. Interment will follow at the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin and Ken Germain, Daniel and Andrew Rudkevitch, Curtis Holowachuk and Dallas Rudkevitch. The family wishes to thank Dr. Welch and the nurses of the I.C.U. in the Concordia Hospital. The Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service in Dauphin have care of the arrangements.
