HILDA FRANCES ROGERS (nee GODFREY) Peacefully with her family after a courageous battle with cancer, Hilda Frances Rogers, age 73 years of Silver Ridge, Man., entered into rest on Saturday, February 3, 2001 at the Ste. Rose General Hospital. Hilda is survived by her husband of 52 years Reg; son Don (Bea) of Silver Ridge; son Richard (Sylvia) of Winnipeg; daughter Rosanne Oswald of Portage la Prairie; son Alister (Debbie) of Riding Mountain; grandchildren, Christopher, Melinda, Rosie, Dawn (Mike), Angela (Jason), Heather, Melissa (Jeff), Susie, Adam, Bobby, Terry, Dani; four great-grandchildren, Ricki Lee, Randi, Jesse, Alysha; one brother Stanley Godfrey of Sabinal, Texas; two sisters, Maisie Carey (Doug) of Winnipeg and Marie Farler of Winnipeg; brother-in-law Bill Rogers (Rose) of Toronto; sister-in-law Joan Rogers of Calgary; brother-in-law Tommy Rogers (Thea) of Calgary; sister-in-law Peggy Godfrey of Winnipeg; special friend Kathy; as well as many nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held Tuesday, February 6, at 7:00 p.m at St. Bedes Anglican Church, Kinosota, Man. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 7, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kinosota Community Hall. Rev. Ann Crossland will be officiating. The service will conclude at the hall. Interment will take place at St. James Cemetery in Bluff Creek, Man., at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Dobchuk Funeral Home, McCreary entrusted with arrangements.
