ADOLPH SASKOSKY It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dad, grandpa and friend, Adolph Saskosky, on February 3, 2001 at his residence in Fraserwood, at the age of 76. Adolph was predeceased by his loving wife Alice in December 1993. He leaves to mourn his passing his son Allan (Kathy) daughter Joan (Lawrence) stepson Peter Toth; grandchildren, Sandy, Shelly, David, Andrew and Kristel; sisters, Elsie and Ida both of Calgary; niece Kristine (Vern) and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Adolph enjoyed working on the farm and loved to join in with the guys while they did carpentry work. His passion was raising horses. Dad also had a soft heart for children of all ages. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli with Pastor Trudy Sluth officiating. Viewing to be held prior to service. Interment to follow in the Gimli Community Cemetery. His pallbearers will be Clarence Stace, Lawrence Tymoshchuk, Dennis Stace, Vern Hill, Bob Gretchen and Shane Starr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Gilbart Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
