Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILDRED CAMERON Mildred Cameron of Peguis, MB entered into eternal rest at the Peguis Senior Centre, on Monday, February 5, 2001 at the age of 74 years. Mildred leaves to cherish her memory her son, Brian and daughter-in-law Bev, her daughter Elva and son-in-law Buck Schmall. Mildred will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Tim Cameron, Jennifer Cameron, Nicole Cameron, Anthony Stevenson, Cindy and Stuart Spence, Nathan McCorrister, Tommy McCorrister, Kevin Michell and Dawn McCorrister; great-grandchildren Katina, Colton and Shayna Spence, Joshua and Chloe McCorrister, Chase McCorrister, Denika and Jeremy Woodhouse and Blaine Rose; brothers and sisters Florence and Baldwin Jonasson of Bluffton, AB., Walter Sinclair, Gladys Saunders, Alex and Bev Sinclair, Judy and Dan Murdock and Barbara Murdock, all of Fisher River, MB., Riley and Irene Sinclair of Berens River, MB., Mary and Raymond Isfeld of Winnipeg Beach, MB., brothers and sisters-in-law Percy and Merdina Cameron, Alice Cameron, John and Sharon Cameron, Glen Cameron, Kenny Cameron, Audrey Bedard, Phyllis Olson, Joy and Robert Sutherland, Dennis Cameron, Josie Cameron, Sam Williams and Donald Harper; many nieces, nephews and friends. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Oswald in 1997; son Fredrick in 1987; parents George and Gladys Sinclair; parents-in-law, Edward and Lucy Cameron; grandson Willy McCorrister; son-in-law Bill McCorrister; sister, Clara Williams; sister and brothers-in-law Annie Sinclair, Frank Murdock and Allan Saunders. Mom was born on March 28, 1926 and was raised in Fisher River, MB. Mom and Dad married on September 7, 1948 and together they raised their children in Peguis, MB. Mom worked at Fisher River and Percy E. Moore Hospitals in CSR and as a ward aide from 1957 until her retirement in 1991, due to health reasons. In 1983, Mom was recognized by the Federal Government for 25 years in the public service. Mom enjoyed crocheting, bingo, knitting, curling and cooking. Moms grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a very special place in her heart. Her family will fondly remember the many happy gatherings they shared and which Mom especially enjoyed. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Peguis Senior Centre, where Mom resided since August of 1995. Thank you to Dr. E. Moller and nursing staff of the Percy E. Moore Hospital for the care given during Moms recent hospital stay. A special thank you to Moms brothers and sisters for their support and continued presence throughout her illness, most especially during the past few days. Pallbearers are grandsons Tim Cameron, Nathan and Tommy McCorrister, Kevin Michell, Stuart Spence, great-grandson Josh McCorrister. Honorary pallbearers are Florence and Baldwin Jonasson, Ernie and Anne Abas, Eileen Thomas, Jeanette Asham, Audrey Bedard, Gladys Sinclair, Madeline Ferris, Edith McCorrister, Deanna and Earl Cameron and the staff at the Peguis Senior Center. Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the family at the home of Brian and Bev Cameron. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, February 7, at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8, at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will take place at 1:00 p.m. Both services will be held at St. Matthews Anglican Church, Peguis, MB. Rev. Wesley Barrett and Rev. Barry Bear officiating. Interment to follow at St. Matthews Anglican Cemetery. O Lord, Send your swift angels to smooth out her wrinkled brow. Encircle her night with the wings of your protection, so that she may rest quietly, content in your watchful care.
