Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE FUCHS Peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2001, with her family at her side, Annie Fuchs (nee Reimer) passed away at the Grunthal Menno Home, reaching the age of 94 years. Annie was born on June 10, 1906 in Lowe Farm, MB, to John and Mary Reimer, and on July 18, 1924 she married her husband, Emil Fuchs, and in 1948 they moved from Lowe Farm to a farm south of Grunthal, where Emil passed away in 1987. Besides her loving husband, she was predeceased by three sons in infancy, John, Harry and Herman; two sons-in-law, Steve Chomokovski and Walter Begalke. She is survived by her sister Agnes and brother Pete, both of Alberta. She also leaves to mourn her passing her four sons, Abe (Agatha) of Kleefeld, Leonard of Prince George, BC, Carl (Evelyn) of Winnipeg, Waldo (Marge) of Marchand; her four daughters, Minnie Chomokovski of Arborg, Viola (Dick) Friesen of Steinbach, Marianne Begalke of Steinbach, and Helen (Jake) Woelke of Grunthal; 20 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 11:00 a.m., at Grunthal Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 101 Southwood St., with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Grunthal cemetery. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Menno Home for the wonderful care that their mother received. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Grunthal Menno Home Foundation, Box 280, Grunthal, MB R0A 0R0.
