Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERNA STRINDLUND Verna went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2001 in Victoria, BC. She was born in Russell, Manitoba on June 30, 1912 and is survived by her loving brother, Bob (Phyllis) sisters-in-law, Doreen and Pearl; nieces and nephews. Verna has left us to join her husband Lawrence; son John; brothers, Gerry, Lawson and Bill; sisters, Laura and Phyllis. Her giving nature and love of laughter will be remembered by her family and friends in Victoria, Winnipeg, Russell and Ottawa. A special thank-you to Pat for her recent visit and to Sara who was always close by. Verna will be laid to rest beside her husband and son in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue on Saturday, February 10 2001 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
