Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK THOMAS LISCHKA Our little Energizer Bunny passed away on Monday, February 5, 2001. He fought a long hard fight for the last five years, surmounting many complications, set backs and hospitalizations. He had amazing recuperative powers. Frank was born in Steelman, Sask. February 20, 1919. Frank was predeceased by his wife Eve in 1992. He is survived by his six children, Pat (Tom), Linda (Larry), Diane (David), Doug (Carol), Brian (Donna), Kerry (Leslie and her children, Misty, Ben and Adrian) grandchildren, Ron (Sandra), Kevin (Leanne), Karin, Susan, Susan (George), Heather, Heidi, Kelly (Silvana), Linda, Mike, Neil, Kyle, Lauren, and Maddie; and great-granddaughters, Evelyn and Maggie. He is also survived by his brothers, Tony, Henry, Andy, Jack, Ron, Billy; sisters, Betty and Marlene and stepsister Audrey. Our family extends our heartfelt thanks for the excellent and compassionate care shown to Dad by his longtime physician and family friend Dr. Wayne Van Horne, all the staff at the Fred Douglas Lodge, his faithful caregiver Dean Subedar, as well as the staff on the 5th floor, Unit 7 at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Viewing one half hour prior to the service. A reception for family and friends to follow at the chapel following the conclusion of the service. Private interment to take place at a later date.
