GLADYS JOHNS (nee FORZLEY) Peacefully, on Thursday, February 8, 2001 at the Charleswood Care Centre, Gladys passed away, at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her husband John of over 50 years, son George, brother George Forzley, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by her sisters May Mutter, Stella Mussallem, brothers Ed and Sam Forzley. Gladys worked at a restaurant that her and her husband operated on Provencher Blvd. called Eds Lunch. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 12, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) at 10:00 a.m. with a viewing at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the reception centre. A special thank you to the staff of Charleswood Care Centre for the care and compassion shown to Gladys during her stay.
