EDWIN VICENTE de GUZMAN 1923 - 2001 Peacefully, on Thursday, February 8, 2001, Mr. Edwin de Guzman, passed away at Riverview Health Centre. Edwin will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Cresencia Niegos de Guzman; children, Evelyn (Avelino) Perez, Fe (Martinus) Tangelder, Grace Aquino, Edna (Necito) Viagedor, Josephine (Gary) Khara and Eric de Guzman; grandchildren, Abegail, Annabel, Oliver, Eunice, Edmond, Nino, Mark, Allison and Pal; sisters, Remedios and Luz from California, sister Rosario; and brothers, Ben and Maximo Jr. from the Phillipines, brother Homberto (Aurora) from Winnipeg. The family wishes to thank relatives and friends, staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Riverview Health Centre 3E, and Dr. Ernesto Milambiling for all their care and support. Prayers will be held on Friday, February 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 17 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington St., with Rev. Fr. Robert Polz officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nestor dela Pena, Domingo Abad, Villamor Adatan, Manuel Buenaventura, Rodolfo Cabugao and Orlando Bredonia. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
