KENNETH WILLIAM ALDERSON June 15, 1928 - August 1, 1999 Ken passed away peacefully on August 1, 1999 at St. Boniface Hospital after a lengthy illness. Ken was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word, a man devoted to his family and friends, a man who many looked to for strength and encouragement when the world seemed to fail them. Ken accomplished the things in life that were most important to him. He married a wonderful woman, raised a beautiful, loving family and owned his own business. He will be remembered always as an animal lover, he rescued numerous underdogs in his day, both of the four-legged and two-legged varieties. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ruth; children, Terry Alderson (Maggie), Lori Nelson (Phil), and Lindy (Rocky) sister Helen VanBrabant, her son Barry (Bev) and grandchildren, Jennifer Nelson(Jason), Kenneth William Jr. and Kyla Alderson. Ken will also be sadly missed by his devoted four-legged companion, Rebel. The family wishes to extend its sincere thanks to the staff of Grace Hospital Emergency/Observation, as well as the staff of St. Boniface Hospital SICU and Palliative care. So many of you gave of yourselves in ways we never would have imagined, far beyond providing physical care, you gave us all a kind of genuine support that we will never forget - thank you. The family will be holding a private memorial service. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations in memory of Ken may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O.
