VERN BRUCE (Captain, RCAF Retired) 1926 - 1999 Peacefully, on July 31, 1999 after a courageous battle with cancer, Vern passed away with family at home in Penticton, British Columbia. Vern is survived by Ina, wife of 52 years; four children, Robynne, Bev, Debra and Mike; grandson Lee; and sister Athlyn. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Verns wishes, a private interment will take place at a later date in Kaslo, British Columbia. Flowers gratefully declined, however, should friends desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
