WILLIAM WEISS 1906 - 1999 On Tuesday, August 3, 1999 William Weiss, age 93 years, of Winnipeg, MB, formerly of Morris and Killarney MB, peacefully passed away at the home of his daughter and son-in-law in Rock Lake, MB. He leaves to mourn his passing his 4 daughters; Audrey (Albert) Gauvreau of Edmonton, AB., Enid and Bob Phoenix of Phoenix, AZ, Carol and George Worms of Morden, Cheryle and Bill Allen of Rock Lake; 3 sons, Alvin and Joan Weiss of Morris, Brian and Carol Weiss of Lloydminster, AB, David and Pamella Weiss of Morden, 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 sister Lydia and Rudolph Eichler of Minitonas. He is predeceased by first wife Evelyn Weiss in March of 1949, second wife Ruth Emma Weiss in October of 1995, 1 sister Mathilda, 1 sister in infancy, 2 brothers; Edward Weiss and Ferdinand Weiss, 1 son-in-law Albert Gauvreau in 1986. Public viewing will be held Friday, August 6, 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel Morden and the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Railroad St., Morris, MB with Rev. Delvin Birtsch and Rev. Edward Hamm officiating. Interment will follow at the Morris Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Back to the Bible or Rock Lake Palliative Care. Special thanks from the family to Dr. Nason, Dr. Malik and their staff at the Manitoba Cancer Clinic; Victoria Order of Nurses, Myrna Brownlee and Pam King of Rock Lake Palliative Care for their assistance to dad during his illness.
