ETHEL EVELYN BUTTERWORTH (nee Brown) Mrs. Evelyn Butterworth passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2001 at Lions Manor. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband William in September 1977; brother James Brown and two sisters, Jean Olsson and Edith Hayward-Ellis. She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, Audrey (Ken) Murray, Heather Fox and special friend Rob Roseberry of Edmonton; two grandsons, Todd Murray and Scott (Christie) Murray and their son Nicholas; plus numerous nieces, nephews and many friends especially her special nephew Terry Brown of Thunder Bay. A heartfelt thank you to David and Gerry Jones for all their kindness and support over the years. Mother was an active member and supporter of Tabernacle Baptist Church for many years. She was very active as a member and supporter of Bleak House Centre and an active participant in both lawn and five pin bowling including the gold in 1984 at the Manitoba Senior Citizen Games. A memorial service will be held Monday February 12 at 3:00 p.m. from Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook Street with Mr. Harris officiating. Should friends so desire donations can be made to the Tabernacle Baptist Memorial Fund 155 Bannerman Ave., R2W 0T3. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
