Date of Passing: Feb 11, 2001
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySANDRA DIANE HOLLAND 1934 - 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Diane Holland, on February 11, 2001. Sandra will be sadly missed by her husband of 46 years, Gordon; her children, Janis and Gary Williams, Nancy and Gordon Zubriski, and Richard Holland; her beloved grandsons, Scott and Andrew Williams, Nicholas and James Zubriski; and numerous family members and friends. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, John R. and Ina Stuart of Winnipeg. Sandra was born and raised in Winnipeg, attending Earl Grey and Kelvin High School. She spent many happy years as a choir member and Sunday School teacher at Harrow United Church. Sandra volunteered for many school and community organizations. Although she travelled extensively throughout the world, she was most content in her home with family, friends or a crossword puzzle. In recent years, she was co-owner of a small business at Grant Park Shopping Center. A Service of Remembrance was held on Tuesday, February 13 at 1:00 p.m. in the Harrow United Church, 955 Mulvey St., with Rev. Teresa Moysey officiating. The family would like to extend special thanks to Sandras physicians, Drs. Prodan, Parham, Chowdhury, Brandes and Marr, as well as the special nurses and staff at GH3 Health Sciences Centre and E3 Riverview Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Sandras memory to the Harrow United Church Memorial Fund, 955 Mulvey St., Winnipeg, MB R3M 1G8, or a charity of your choice. In short, there are three things that last: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love. 1 Co. 13: 8 LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1501 Waverley Street 949-4860
