Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE IDA DUNN It is with deep sorrow the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Rose Ida Dunn, on Saturday, February 10, 2001 at the Lundar Personal Care Home at the age of 87 years. Rose Ida was born July 16, 1913 in Eriksdale, MB, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Lussier. She married Jim Dunn in 1942 and together they farmed in the Abbeyville District where they raised their children. They moved to Lundar in 1967 and retired shortly after. Ida was a proud mother who loved all of her children. She was a hard-working woman who enjoyed life as a homemaker. She enjoyed her garden, cooking and canning. In later years, her greatest pleasure was Bingo and visits with her grandchildren. She leaves to mourn her children, Jim (Maggie), Alice (Ray), Morris (Judy), and Jenny; grandchildren, Jim, Elise, Michelle (Kelly), Lyndon, Leanne, Chris, Jackie, Darren, Melissa, Irene, Aaron and Neil; three great-grandchildren, Brittany, Stephanie and Montana; sisters, Alice (George), Agnes (Bill) brothers, Wilfred and Edward. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1980; daughter Mary in 1969; brothers, Alex,Paul, Felix, Sam, Joe, Charles and Bill. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lundar Legion Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Interment at the Lundar Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Lundar Care Home, and Dr. Neil Burnet for their kind and compassionate care.
