Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySOPHIE RUSSELL (IWANOCZKO) (nee DUBEL) Peacefully, on Sunday, February 11, 2001 at the River East Personal Care Home, our mother and grandmother left us to be with her Lord. Born March 25, 1906. Mother and the rest of the Dubel family immigrated to Canada, April 1914 to a homestead two miles south of Elma. Mother was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Polly Dubel; her first husband John Iwanoczko; second husband Lenard Russell; brother John Dubel; sisters, Anne Kuchar and Katie Koralewicz, and one brother in Poland. She is survived by her daughter Marie Flanagan of Surrey; son Michael (Mary Lou) of Fort Erie, Leon (Gloria), Karl (Marion) of Winnipeg; sister Evelyn Russell of Flin Flon; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, February 14 at 7:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m. also in Green Acres Funeral Chapel. Interment at a later date in Elma, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. Many thanks to Dr. Dirks and all the staff at River East Personal Care Home for the "TLC" that was given to mother for the past two years. VICHNAYA PAMYAT GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222 - 3241
